July 1, 1887 treasonous individuals forced King Kalakaua to accept a new Cabinet Council under threat of violence
- Five (5) days later Cabinet Council forces King Kalakaua to sign a new Constitution
- New Constitution allows foreign nationals voting rights
- New Constitution curtails the executive authority of the Monarch
- Hawaiian Constitutional Law does not allow any Constitutional changes without Legislative approval therefore this Constitution has no force and effect
Pearl Harbor was at issue, the natives did not want to ratify, but Dole,Thurston, Ashford, took over etc.
